i like the odd double espressobut i nearly died of shame when i took my mum to cafe nero. she ordered a cup of basic, bog-standard coffee and i ordered my double espresso. when they were brought over to us, mother dear almost hit the roof. "wtf is this?? it's practically empty! we won't be coming here again, you pack of money-grabbing, tight-fisted bastards!"
how we didn't get thrown out, i'll never know.
i've not dared to show my face in there since :(
