The customer is always right. And yet, as 'listentomyopinion' writes, this is utter bollocks.

Tell us of the customers who were wrong, wrong, wrong but you still had to smile at (if only to take their money.)

I wrote a letter of complaint to Sainsburys this year
The silly bitch on the till demanded proof of age identification for the alchohol I was buying, even though (1) It was a small part of my weekly shopping, (2) I was paying with a VISA card and (3) I am 31 years old. I didn't get any free stuff but I did get a letter of apology and they said they questioned the snotty cow on the till (I sent a copy of my receipt so they would know who it was).
