HehNot at all.... For some reason I'd always go outside and pee in the garden rather than going upstairs. The light for the landing was only turned on from the landing itself you see, and if it was off I'd have to brave the stairs in the dark.... And even though the garden was dark as well, it was somehow less scary than the prospect of the stairs.

arf!my granddad had an outside toilet, we were terrified to go in there! quite apart from all the spiders(which i'm not scared of), it was really creepy and the other kids would stand outside trying to freak me out :(
