Big cats
now i had heard that large cats might be abroad in britain, released when the law changed in the 70's. I thought it was possible. Then i my new GF talked about her terror of them attacking her in the dark (we go to a lot of outside parties and it becomes quite hilarious/worrying). Nonsense i thought. So she proceeded to hammer the intermanet and other sources to show me.

Looks like they are real! seriously, theres some insane evidence to prove it.

Once i'd been convinced it became a lot harder to say "it LOOKS like a large predator! it'll be a cross sheep".

I still fdont think a rave is much of an attractant for Panthers, butgoing for a slash when hammered takes on a whole new level when someone says "be careful! Big cats were spotted in this area last year" ffs

I saw what appeared to be a panther at Burton Bradstock near Bridport
got a really bad photo of it too.

..
Of the many oddities and paranormal gloop out there, big cats living in the wild are the most realistic of the 'stories'. There was a chap that actually got slashed by one a fair few years back, and there have been some good photos and video come through recently... not all that likely they're going to attack the old soldier whilst having a wizz in the dark.

Funnily enough
Today in the news, I see that a bloke in Helensburgh has taken video footage of a big cat.

I have to say however, that to me it looks like just that. A big pussy cat. A large example of a domestic feline.

that is definitely a domestic cat
the one I saw was about the size of a german shepherd (the dog) and it wasn't ambling along, it was stalking like a leopard.

edit: "Also, you can tell from the size of the track that it is much larger than a house cat." I'd say you can tell from the size of the track that it is a domestic cat.

Er, no...
Those tracks are the best part of 5 feet apart and whilst I'd agree it clearly isn't the size of a tiger, I've never seen a house cat that would measure up to that thing.

You haven't seen
my sister's cat.

(No pussy jokes please)

Mmmkay
Even the biggest, burliest cats don't have a tail that's about 3 feet long.

It's difficult to make much detail out in the video, but it's got the balance to walk on the tracks. Still doesn't look massively 'cat-like' in it's movements.
