Your humiliation is not unusual. I recognised my nephew on here when reading anecdotes that could only be about our family.Also, my son posted snaps of Mr Quar on here, which were 'shopped, and 'shopped hard. One poster asked 'Is that you, XXXXX?' and then 'shopped him anyway.

Ditto. I recognised both the stories and distinctive writing style of my brotherwho then spent a year forgetting I knew, and denying he did anything as geeky as posting on b3ta every time I mentioned it.
He also tells girls the shelves of Warhammer figurines in his room are mine (the latest one's hip to it though).
