My Biggest Disappointment
Often the things we look forward to the most turn out to be a huge let down. As Freddy Woo puts it, "High heels in bed? No fun at all. Porn has a lot to answer for."
Well, Freddy, you are supposed to get someone else to wear them.
What's disappointed you lot?

The new Top Gear series
Based on the first episode on Sunday, they've finally run out of ideas. Neither informative nor funny, except the whole police car bit which raised a few chuckles.
Or maybe I'm finally growing up?
Also "Turn Back Time" on Dave. How can you put Dara O'Braieiaaien (or however you spell it) and Terry Jones in a studio together and get so few laughs? It ended up as a crappy cross between Room 101 and This is your Life.

I found the bit with the supercar race
and the prius against the m3 interesting and informative.
jumping cars backwards was a bit daft though
I can't see any real difference between what they did in that episode and the last 2 series...

maybe I'm missing something...

I think
maybe after all the stuff they did last season (Trekking through Africa, driving to the North Pole, trying to launch a Reliant Robin into space) driving a Toyota around the track seems a bit unimaginative.
Maybe they've run out of money.

Well, the Prius vs. M3 thing
was probably just because Clarkson, for some reason, really *hates* the Prius. (Yeah, I'm biased, my parents have one and I quite like it.)
It was *interesting*, yes, but not particularly surprising or meaningful - if you floor it in any car it won't do too well on economy, plus the Prius blatantly isn't designed for that sort of thing. The point that driving style makes a huge difference is a good one, but no matter how you drive it, the car does so too.
(And the bit about the Prius battery being so environmentally damaging - I thought that was debunked years ago?)

Don't despair
The last series started off a bit slow and really only got going after the 3rd episode.

I think the issue is you.
And your standards are too high. I missed most of top gear due to laughing too hard.
