I too was obsessed with The Lion king, and i got the game on the good old sega mega drive.

I couldn't get past the very end - i assumed that you just had to maul Scar around a bit until he died - however many times i tried to kick his arse he'd jump up to the next bloody level.

Turns out you have to roll him over 3 times and eventually he falls over the cliff.

I managed to get hold of this game for my GP2X - how the buggery did i get past that stampede level when i was 10?!

EDIT: Yes the ending was ever so disappointing - but i think most of the Disney games had them.

I think my major slump came in the penultimate level where you had to go through the caves and kill all those bastard hyenas. Took an ice age to work that one out.
