if it makes you feel any betterI ran my first half-marathon with a slight injury. I ended up on crutches for a month with a stress fracture. Turns out I'd actually managed to break my leg around the 8th mile and I kept running on it, fuelled by adrenalin and the desire for a decent time. I think it makes me hardcore but very, very stupid. You've probably saved yourself a lot of damage in the long run.
