my 6th form leavers ball....
...just got back from it now.

The actual ball was good fun; drinking, dancing, talking - a good night.

The "after party" at Tramps nightclub in Worcester was shit however. Not that many people actually went and i left there at half two stone cold sober. bollocks

You here people going on and on about how good the "Prom" will be and how important it is, etc. It really wasnt that important, but a fairly good night anyway.

To sum up - Ball=Good, Nightclub= a big dissapointment(shit)

All of my friends
spent the whole prom outside the venue itself (the newly built school hall) talking and smoking and we had a far better time than if we'd gone inside to mingle with the inbred chavs. After party was a lot better, spent at my friend Leo's house smoking lots of weed and watching slacker films :)

All big parties where there is a massive build up tend to be a bit shit in comparison to how you think they're going to be.

When I was a wee lad we didnt have "promss". They existed in US TV shows and movies. Now it seems every time I listen to someone at work they are on about booking a stretched Limo or getting a gown for the Prom. WTF?
