This is a question My Biggest Disappointment

Often the things we look forward to the most turn out to be a huge let down. As Freddy Woo puts it, "High heels in bed? No fun at all. Porn has a lot to answer for."

Well, Freddy, you are supposed to get someone else to wear them.

What's disappointed you lot?

Final Fantasy 7
I'm hope i'm not the only one that thinks this.

**Spoilers - if you haven't completed the game i recommend you don't read this.**

When i was a young lady of about 12 or 13 my step-brother bought me a game called Final Fanatsy 7. I loved it. I spent 3 days playing, only stopping for food occasionally and catching about 3 hours sleep in that entire time. I laughed, i cried and all too soon i was heading to fight Sephiroth for the last time.

The monsters on the way down were difficult to beat, i remember thinking i might not make it. I was excited thinking about the epic end battle that was to come. I finally met Sephiroth.....

AND THERE IS NO TWUNTING BATTLE!!

When the fight starts your limit break thingy is full and you get "Omnislash", hit him once and that's it. Game over.

Fuck you square, fuck you.

Wut
You have to beat him 3 times before you get to that part...

erm
yeah, but with all the build up wouldn't you be expecting an epic end battle?

fair enough you have to fight him throughout the game but when you come to the end and he's supposed to be beaten for the final time wouldn't it have been much better to have a proper fight? it was very anticlimatic.

Much preferred the fight at the end of 8 with Ultimacia

I didn't mean throughout the game
you literally fight him 2 times before that fight :P , *SPOILERS*

First you fight Jenova , then Bizzaro Sephiroth , then Safer Sephiroth , then sephiroth. =D

Don't like these kind of RPG's
Zelda Ocarina of Time is far and away the better game =)

Sorry to gatecrash

heh
Even then Kingdom it's still a bit crap you don't get a proper End Battle.

And Dirty, good call on Zelda. Did you play Twilight Princess?

Sorry but..
what do you mean you don't get a proper end battle! You defeat 2 uber forms of sephiroth , weaken him down and finish him off with an omnislash , that is awesome if you ask me.

:/
You're missing my point entirely. I know you get 2 other fights but to me these were just build up. In a game like this you should get a proper end boss fight. Considering how easy the other 2 fights were compared to a lot of the monsters on the way down and then the last fight is ended in one hit it was nothing but disappointing for me.

**Spoilers**
It's like in FF10, the last fight was marred because you couldn't die. You had this spell on you where if you lost all your health you were automatically resurrected.

@panda
Well I've kind of "grown out" of computer games, although I've been known to play Football Manager (ahem).

So no I don't have a console capable of running twilight princess - but at Uni I got a shot of a gamecube and the wind waker which I thought was just tremendous. Kind of took me back to the magical days of cavorting around Hyrule Plains on my trusty stead, Epona.

Epona I love you.

Epona returns
in Twilight Princess.
If you ever get disposable pocket change, a Wii and Twilight Princess is very very worthwhile.

I was relieved
That I didn't have to fight the bastard again.
On a side note, I went up against hin in Kingdom Hearts - and died in about 10 seconds

at least it wasn't a film
I was more disappointed by Advent Children, now that was shocking.

I think Safer Sephiroth's theme more than makes up for the poor final fight on 7
