This is a question My Biggest Disappointment

Often the things we look forward to the most turn out to be a huge let down. As Freddy Woo puts it, "High heels in bed? No fun at all. Porn has a lot to answer for."

Well, Freddy, you are supposed to get someone else to wear them.

What's disappointed you lot?

Kinder Surprise!
Horrible chocolate, nasty little toy.

A double whammy of disillusionment.

What?!
Kinder chocolate is lovely! And a Kinder Egg has just the right amount.

The toys are bit crap, but it's better than nothing.

^^
I like to think of them as the eggs of numbing inevitability.

I like to order them in the third person
"Axeman Jim would like the eggs of numbing inevitability."

*nods*
I actually made a Kinder Egg with a Creme Egg inside it once, for a friend.

You must be the best friend...
EVAR. :)

Maybe...
They didn't realise at first, as where I'd melted it back together it looked like it'd been mangled by a sticky-fingered retard.

And then it was badly re-wrapped too.
But the look of fantastic surprise when they cracked open the chocolate was well worth it.

Kinder Eggs are valuable life lessons
Just as pets (and their inevitable deaths) help children learn about bereavement, Kinder Eggs teach children that, in life, occasionally something will promise to be absolutely fantastic, but when you actually open it up, it's a bloody jigsaw.

Or a Sharky sodding Baba.

...
and the whole scene unfolded with a tedious inevitability
