At the opposite end...Land's End is similarly disappointing. What? You have to pay to park? Sod that then, I'm off down the Lizard.
There was (maybe still is) a little ramshackle cafe perched up at the top of the cliff, where you can sip tea, have an invigorating bacon sarnie, and watch the waves crash against the wicked rocks a hundred feet below. Marvellous.
