Shrivelled Americansare caused by the 60s and 70s era infatuation with tanning and a lack of understanding about sun damage.
Additionally, in case you hadn't noticed we're a bit closer to the equator than you lot, so the sun is just a bit more intense over here.
That said, my skin burns once in the spring, then tans for the rest of the summer- and I have almost no wrinkles at the age of 45. Neener neener neener.
