DIY disasters
I just can't do power tools. They always fly out of control and end up embedded somewhere they shouldn't. I've no idea how I've still got all the appendages I was born with.
Add to that the fact that nothing ends up square, able to support weight or free of sticking-out sharp bits and you can see why I try to avoid DIY.

I only use superglue for girly things
Around here, having your nails done professionally is so common, women without their nails done are considered freakish. However, I refuse to wear fake nails....they severly damage your natural nails. So I just let mine grow, perform meticulous manicures at home, and when I have a break....well, I superglue my nails back together. Everyone who doesn't know my secret thinks I'm getting my nails done weekly like all the other women. Nope. It is superglue sanded smooth then a bit of nail varnish.
