DIY disastersI just can't do power tools. They always fly out of control and end up embedded somewhere they shouldn't. I've no idea how I've still got all the appendages I was born with.
Add to that the fact that nothing ends up square, able to support weight or free of sticking-out sharp bits and you can see why I try to avoid DIY.

MFI are twats too.My cousin had 3 kitchens from MFI: first one was wrong, second one was bodged by the fitters, and when they came to fit the 3rd, they tried to nick the new stuff and put back the (damaged) second one. The cops were called and coz had to be blue-lighted into hospital with chest pains from the stress.
His wife's a lawyer though so MFI wound up paying for a proper builder to fit it, an upgrade on the cooker, ALL the takeaways they had to buy while they had nothing to cook on, and the kitchen was free.
