DIY disastersI just can't do power tools. They always fly out of control and end up embedded somewhere they shouldn't. I've no idea how I've still got all the appendages I was born with.
Add to that the fact that nothing ends up square, able to support weight or free of sticking-out sharp bits and you can see why I try to avoid DIY.

hehehe...reminds me of my father, grandfather and ex-husbandAll 3 are electricians. All three have shocked themselves many times. And all three have a tendency to touch the live wire at least a second, if not a third time, just to make sure. Grandfather is the only one to have any serious accidents though. He was cooked to a crisp at a sub-station when I was a baby but actually survived.
