And the manager told us to do it, he didn't want to write off the cost of fifteen chickens. All over the warehouse floor too, which has a variety of lethal chemicals washed over it once a week.

Well it IS a well-known fact that applying heat to 'cook' meat doesn't kill bugs.

cooking does indeed "kill bugs"
but it can't be relied upon to disintegrate grit, destroy bacterial toxins, or neutralise cleaning chemicals.
