it's almost like we all know the press pay people off to get stories, but the moment it's exposed for real, we all go nuts.

I was
always of the opinion that they were knowingly churning out dross anyway.
If they truly believed it as they were writing it, then they surely wouldn't have the brains to read contracts etc... with these magazines/papers. Either that, or they should be locked up for their own safety.
