This is a question Dodgy work ethics

Chthonic asks: What's the naughtiest thing a boss has ever asked you to do? And did you do it? Or perhaps you are the boss and would like to confess.

Beefeater 'Restaurant' - I worked as a Kitchen Porter as my second part time job
The Head 'Chef' used to play indoor football with frozen steaks before throwing onto the grill.

He asked me to set him up for a volley, and I'm sad to say that I did.

He scuffed it under the dessert prep area.

It still went onto the grill in due course.

Probably
Headers and Volleys memories from yesteryear maybe...

Did you play 'Wally/Willy' - The game where if you let in five headers or volleys when you were in goal - the other players had a free attempt each to smash the ball at your backside, whilst you bent over and 'hoped for the best'.....?

Frozen steaks straight on to a grill?
No bullshit going on here, obviously.

I wish
it was bullshit. I really do.

additionally
where did I say 'straight' onto the grill?
(, Thu 14 Jul 2011, 15:47, closed)
it is implicit in how you phrased it.
Otherwise there is no need to specify that they were frozen. Or, if they were frozen when the football was taking place, there is no need to say before they went on the grill.

English, it's a confusing language.
