Driven to Madness
Captain Placid asks: What annoying things do significant others, workmates and other people in general do that drive you up the wall? Do you want to kill your other half over their obsessive fridge magnet collection? Driven to distraction over your manager's continued use of Comic Sans (The Font of Champions)? Tell us.

There's a solution
I can't stand people whistling/humming/singing just one line from a song they've been earwormed by. It's not really their fault, but it's annoying.
So, rather than get upset, I start retaliating with the theme from The Great Escape.
Try it. Instantly knocks anything else out of their tiny mind. I once got the entire staff of a busy pub humming it.

Heh, may try that on the annoying girl who keeps loudly humming the chorus to "Call Me Maybe".
