YepI spent a few months in a Glasgow flat with the young couple above me stomping around on a hardwood floor.
I ended up taking up smoking again to calm my nerves and to give me an excuse to stand outside and get away from the racket.
Their sprog was in the room above mine and would cry for hours at night. Parenting consisted of drunkenly shouting at the kid for a bit then going back to bed. I slept with ear plugs for most of my time there.
To top it off, the dozy twats flooded their kitchen (for the fifth time) on my last night in residence, blowing all my electrics. The big carving knife did look very inviting.
