Even more infuriatinglyWhen I lived in Brighton, one of my neighbours had a disabled space, which was fine. Apart from the times he decided not to park in it, but next to it, so none of us could use the disabled space, but he was still taking up space on the road!! Argh!!

Most disabled spaces are purely advisoryUnless there is an official council sign on a lamp-post, saying "Disabled Parking Only" you are free to park in one of these boxes on the street with "Disabled" next to them. A bit low, of course, but if you know the supposed beneficiary isn't using it, fill yer boots.
