If you are a Vodafone customer
Try using the online form to contact them.
Their response will ask for:
- First line of your address along with the postcode
- Your date of birth
- Your method of payment
- Vodafone Account number
- Number of subscriptions on the account
- Three recently dialed numbers
All to be sent via plain text as a reply. Mmmm. Secure.
When a company phones me, which is usually via an outsourced agency, I usually ask them to confirm one of my details, like the month of my birth, before I will continue. After all, anyone can call and purport to be from a certain company.
