But I would have come over anyhow.Not sure how it works in your place of work but all the places I've worked colleagues regularly walk over to each other to discuss things rather than relying on email alone. You must have a weird culture in your office if everyone's email gets queued and dealt with in order and you never get up to talk to anyone. Then there are "off the record" conversations -- would you really forward an email to a colleague with the comment "what is this stupid twat playing at?" knowing the email is recorded for ten years and can be accessed by a large number of people involved in the situation?
