I'm dreading some of the tales that are potentially going to be devastating. Being a new Father myself, even picking up a beer fills me with guilt. Luckily I get one night a week with friends away from the house to kick back a little.

with my comatose stepfather in the passenger seat, and my sister and i in the back (nine and seven respectively) the equally drunk host of the party helpfully informed her that it was fine - it was just that she was pressing the brake not the accelerator. she managed to stay conscious until she'd driven us home. well played, mother.
