Hopefully a short but non-depressing story about a drunk parentMy mum isn't much of a drinker. Half a glass of beer or wine with a meal, on rare occasions, is about her limit. But there was one occasion at a New Year's Eve bash, where she'd had just a little bit too much of the celebratory champagne. She waltzes in to the kitchen and heads straight for the fridge saying "I feel unbelievably hungry for some reason!"
"Yes mum" I say, "that's called the munchies."
