Poison chicken
You know on those ready meals, they say to pre-heat the oven? Turns out they mean it.

You know they say to leave the meal in for the whole cooking time? They mean that too.

I spent the worst 48 hours of my life reflecting upon that.

It was a frozen meal I didn't heat properly. I always assumed I was just being an idiot...

You weren't being an idiot
the food was contaminated before you got to it. With pre-cooked ready meals, the worst you can get just by undercooking it is cold food.

Lesson to learn: avoid precooked ready meals.
