Huh.
Googling the phrase "resident loon" turned up the expected birdwatching results and a few b3ta results, but also turned up a lot of results that had nothing to do with me- apparently "resident loon" is a fairly common Usenet term for a poster that others dislike.

I have used the name because in newsgroups I was always the one who posted odd things that made drinks shoot out of peoples' noses.

But I seldom use the same user name, so my various online activities are not that easy to track...
