I got a personal apology from the Head of Nursing at the L&D,
after having a go at the paediatric consultant who seemed to find it difficult, if not impossible, to treat the parents of his patients as adults. There was also the obstetric consultant who told my wife "I can't find a heartbeat" during a routine pregnancy checkup. Not sure what he was supposed to be teaching his SHO, but the pair were swiftly dismissed in favour of a midwife.
