Well, two mundane and an obscure. Go fish.I always carry a small, cheap pen- my friend got it from her grandfather, a pen horder who got IT from a department store giveaway- small, bronze and incredibly unwieldy, not to mention out of ink. Because? You can fit small objects inside the barrel- cheat sheets, photos, incriminating evidence.
And away from the boring...
I also carry about 900 spare notecards, plus... for some freakishly bizzarre reason, a small plastic skull with its eyesockets colored purple. I call it Eliza, and it is the vehicle of all my irritating fidgeting.
