Expensive Mistakes
coopsweb asks "What's the most expensive mistake you've ever made? Should I mention a certain employee who caused 4 hours worth of delays in Central London and got his company fined £500k?"
No points for stories about the time you had a few and thought it'd be a good idea to wrap your car around a bollard. Or replies consisting of "my wife".

Fast Food
It's expensive, unhealthy, promotes corporate mass-production of food and detrimental to the environment. Yet somehow so many of us are drawn to its readily available aura. The mind boggles, it really does.

Depends how you look at it...
Price of a meal at McDonald's: a couple of £s
Price of obesity in the UK alone: estimated £3.5bn cost to the NHS annually
Cost to the environment of the mounting piles of polystyrene and other types of packaging: priceless...

It actually is expensive
I can make a burger for a fraction of the price and 1000x niceness of a Macca's... I just can't be arsed.

Expense is relative, but then I'm poor, so pretty much everything is expensive. I'd rather pay a couple of quid more for a really nice organic free range chicken, get a couple of meals out of it and do the environment a favour than gorge myself on carcenogenic shite from Spacky Ds or Bugger King.
