Divorce costs less than marriage!I reckon in 4 weeks time I'll finish my divorce. I've been paying the solicitor bills along the way so will have no outstanding debt to show for my divorce.
In about 1 years time I'll finish paying for the wedding that resulted in the divorce. One weekend, £10,000. On going nightmare costs for the following year!
Marriage, not to be taken lightly.

An ex colleagueMy mate got married in the late sixties, divorced in the late seventies.
His great line was that his marriage licence cost him seven shillings and sixpence (young folk check with your parents but it works at 37p in decimals) but it cost him £40,000 to get divorced.
