That's exactly what I was going to post.
Except my eye could only see purple. I was terrified that my poor eye would never recover.
Parents were not impressed. I think "serves you right" was as much sympathy as I got. Which was true, but not what I wanted to hear. I'd have been about 7.
Kids, camera flashes are not to be fired directly into the eyeball.
