This is a question Pointless Experiments

Pavlov's Frog writes: I once spent 20 minutes with my eyes closed to see what it was like being blind. I smashed my knee on the kitchen cupboard, and decided I'd be better off deaf as you can still watch television.

shox
when i was about 7 or 8 i decided to try and fix my bedside lamp which seemed to have a loose wire. After several attempts at putting the plug on properly and failing i got tired of putting the casing back on the plug each time and decided to try without the back on the plug. WHen i pushed the plug into the socket the earth pin went in fine but the 2 smaller pins both just pushed up from the casing. So I put a thumb on each and pushed them home. Needless to say I havent tried that again since, and I didn't tell my mum.
