I once had a doctor apply that stuffto a great big wart that had been on the end of my toe for a couple of years. I was only seven at the time and it was bloody painful - I couldn't walk properly for the rest of the day*.
Ironically I now work with LN2 on a fairly regular basis, and the only thing I worry about is asphyxiating myself and anyone else in the lab. But it is supposed to be a painless way to go...
*I may have just been a bit of a pussy at that age.
