Hmmm,,20 year old chablis would be minging enough (good Chablis usually peaks at 7-10 years old if kept right) but 10 year old £4 chenin blanc should be undrinkable. And $300 is very steep for one bottle as other people have pointed out. As far as wine goes your dad has been faking it royally!
