Why?
Because there is no-one getting that worked up about me, which makes me insignificant - so it's all jealousy. Isn't it.

HmmmBy your logic then, every single successful celebrity should be a target for everyones hate. Which isn't true.
People actually like some celebrities. Some of them actually bring something useful, amusing, interesting, moving or inspirational to our lives. It's up to the individual who that may be or for what reason.
It's also up to the individual to hate any celebrity they should find annoying or distasteful. Not through jelousy but through the fact if you met that person in real life, even if they weren't famous, you'd probably still hate their guts.
