This is a question Family codes and rituals

Freddy Woo writes, "as a child we used to have a 'whoever cuts doesn't choose the slice' rule with cake. It worked brilliantly, but it's left me completely anal about dividing up food - my wife just takes the piss as I ritually compare all the slice sizes."

What codes and rituals does your family have?

MrKitty still sometimes asks why I'm walking funny
I can't step on cracks and there can only be 1 step in each section of paving. Equal steps must be taken on the sunny and shady sections of the pathway- equal in total and equal each foot to the other.

It looks like I'm skipping around like a loony, but once I start I can't stop.

Keep in mind though that I wash my hands at least 50 times a day (whenever I touch something, have eaten or am about to eat) and have a weird shaking my hands in front of me to clean them unconcious gesture that increases in frequency with stress.
So yes, I am OCD, but I am a firm believer that every one has their own OCD, just to different levels.

Should suggest that as a QOTW- What's your OCD?

Of course
I thought everyone knew about the bears.

Bring on the OCD chat.
