This is a question Family codes and rituals

Freddy Woo writes, "as a child we used to have a 'whoever cuts doesn't choose the slice' rule with cake. It worked brilliantly, but it's left me completely anal about dividing up food - my wife just takes the piss as I ritually compare all the slice sizes."

What codes and rituals does your family have?

Amazed
at how many other people play versions of this.
We each have a different company.
My wife has Eddie Stobart
I have Norbert doobriedangle
My youngest daughter has Asda
My eldest refuses to play because she is a teenager.
1 point for each complete lorry. No doubles, no points for Eddie pulling Tesco etc. The only rule is that we must PASS the lorry either on the opposite side of the road or on our side. Many a time I have slowed down and tucked in behind an ES so that my wife doesn't get that elusive winning point.
