Family codes and rituals
Freddy Woo writes, "as a child we used to have a 'whoever cuts doesn't choose the slice' rule with cake. It worked brilliantly, but it's left me completely anal about dividing up food - my wife just takes the piss as I ritually compare all the slice sizes."
What codes and rituals does your family have?

*mind boggles*
Actually having initially been secretly impressed by the complexity of said 'drome, this has now turned to scornful derision at the inclusion of 'heros'.
Unless that's a Greek island I've not heard of it's not a word.
Hey check out my palindrome:
srefojrg grjofers
KERRRAZZY!

D'oh!
Yes, I meant palindrome. Or rather, they did.
It is an anagram, of course. I'm the sort of guy who laughs at people misusing pathetic for bathetic and things like that, so I had a solecism coming. Take that, me!
