Family Feuds
Pooster tells us that a relative was once sent to the shops to buy an onion, while the rest of the family went on a daytrip while he was gone. Meanwhile, whole sections of our extended kin still haven't got over a wedding brawl fifteen years ago – tell us about families at war.

*Proper* aunt behaviour!
And uncle, at that. Their job is to tell their nephews and nieces all the stuff that the parents won't.

Oh yes
I once dug a younger cousin in the ribs and joked about her parents' forthcoming silver wedding party being only a couple of months before her own 25th birthday.
She was devastated, to my surprise - it'd never occurred to me that she hadn't done the sums herself.
Seems that everyone but Cousin knew about the shotgun wedding. Fancy that.

My Great Aunty...
...was fabulous, she used to baby sit us all the time and was truly brilliant. She was the one that told me that my dad had been married before, and that my big brother was my half brother! Fantastic! I was 7!
