As I couldn't afford to buy his bookWhen I met Stephen Fry I'd spent all of the last night and morning baking him some bread. I'd had dough left over from the bread I made him, so that was my breakfast that day. I hope he enjoyed the bread as much as I did.
When I gave it to him he called me sweet. That made me so very happy. It still makes me smile.
I should have asked for his signature in my sketchbook but I was too shy.
