I concede this entirely, but I feel it needs to be said
Also, I just read through your top answers and they are all funny and/or engaging to read. What bothers me is that this place used to be great- nowadays any time I try and read QOTW it's just an impenatrable mire of double spaced nothing, which means that people like you get lost in it.

The quality of the questions has a lot to do with it
IMHO.

But you've been missed from these pages, nonetheless.

Aw shucks DG ;)
You are almost certainly right, but there doesn't seem to be the same quality control from users in the same way....

Meh. Looking forward to seeing you and sweary next weekend x

I can't do anything about the double-spacing
but if you append /all to the question URL, i.e.

www.b3ta.com/questions/festivals/all

then you get the current most popular stories, which has the pleasant side effect of filtering out the crap.

I know the /all thing
the issue is that it's hard to wade through enough stories to find the good ones to click them in the first place. Anyone who posts in a busy point won't get read by the majority of people.

Maybe we should have a "this is shit button"
so the shit ones get pushed to the bottom and the good ones go to the top.

That or you could go to a bash with some grenades.
