This is a question How clean is your house?

"Part of my kitchen floor are thick with dust, grease, part of a broken mug, a few mummified oven-chips, a desiccated used teabag and a couple of pieces of cutlery", says Sandettie Light Vessel Automatic. To most people, that's filth. To some of us, that's dinner. Tell us about squalid homes or obsessive cleaners.

Sorry
The strange thing is, I don't feel the same way about mowing the lawn (which is a similar experience).

I suspect that's because, unless your floors are really filthy, you can see how much of the lawn you've done. Most of the time vaccuuming just leaves the floor looking more or less as it did before, only with slightly fewer dust bunnies under the settee.

Hoovering is soooooo unrewarding for all the effort it takes
perhaps I should get a Dyson so I can see all the dirt that gets sucked up?
