Closer inspection revealed that it did't go anywhere, it was just a lav, on a concrete pad, presumably some poor matey had to empty the thing when it was too "full"

I measured the tourist traps by what drugs I was offered:

Mumbai - (having been in India for about... Twenty minutes), the very first thing I was offered was heroin.

Goa - Minding my own business in a beach-side bar, I was passed a large, bulky looking joint. It almost reached my lips when I was told 'It's got freebase in it' - I asked what 'freebase' was and was told it was crack.
I gave it back, but it was a nice sentiment all the same.

Gokarna - Crack, ketamine

Everywhere else - Afghan charas , opium and ganja.
