Was once travelling to Argentina with a collegue on Varig
And we got upgraded to first class. We were the only 2 people in there.

I was wondering aloud whether we'd get a spiffy washbag etc, as they usually give out. My colleague didn't seem bothered.

"Watch this" I said.

I called the steward and said 'Hi, I forgot my toothbrush, you don't have anything on board you can let me have, do you?"

The steward smiled broady, and said "Of course, just a minute, I'll see what I can find".

Ha ha, I'm getting a spiffy washbag! Will it be a leather one, with some nice aftershave? Can't wait. Fuck you, you didn't ask, so you won't get!

Steward comes back, and hands me a crappy disposable toothbrush.

My colleague for some reason finds this amusing.
