When my mum got her PhDThere was a young lady receiving her doctorate in "The Impact of the Klingon Language in modern communication" or some such.
I. Shit. You. Not.
What really chapped my chuddies was that here in Oz once you get to PhD stage you no longer have to pay uni fees.
