First World Problems
Onemunki says: We live in a world of genuine tragedy, starvation and terror. So, after hearing stories of cruise line passengers complaining at the air conditioning breaking down, what stories of sheer single-minded self-pity get your goat?

I live in Northern California ...
in a place with possibly the best climate on the entire planet. Over this last winter, we've had the odd wet day and there was a patch of maybe two weeks in December where it was too cold to have lunch outside and that was it. The Pacific currents keep it relatively cool in summer, so you just get day after day of sunshine without it ever getting intolerably hot.
Having spent the previous 30 years of my life in the cold-to-temperate wetness of the UK, I can attest that moving to a better climate is probably the best way of improving your quality of life. If I end up having to move back to the UK, it's almost certainly what I will miss the most.
