If it's any consolation, I did the oppositeand still looked a prat.
Visiting pothead friends, I sanctimoniously refused a joint as I was expecting to drive home. Anyway I don't smoke and the highs of pot don't make up for the sore throat next day.
So... I sat in an unventilated front room surrounded by about five joints which circled round me like Indians attacking a wagon train.
After about an hour I glided gently to the carpet and lay there, smiling comfortably.
Of course I'd really inhaled so much second-hand pot smoke that I'd slid off the sofa and hit the deck with a thud, and been left there to rot by my stoned erstwhile buddies.
After that, it was 'Oh SHE doesn't smoke dope - no, siree!'
Yeah.

Oh I did thatI didn't realise about second hand pot smoking until I was driving home and nearly went over the side of a bridge!
