Nah we are lowly support staff, students are fair game. Mind you (does quick calculation) I know of about 4 lecturers that have gone on to marry students ..... and one that has shagged a boatload!

Ex-students are fair gameBut if it's a student in your class, you're sailing very close to the wind. Students under 18 count as being in your care and therefore off limits, even if they're over the age of consent.
